As the Ebola virus burns its way across the African continent, a previously unseen strain of the virus emerges along with terrifying side effects. When containments efforts fail, the virus speeds its way across the globe and sends the world spiraling into a panic as the dead begin to rise.
A small group of survivors find themselves trapped and abandoned in Charlotte, NC as the city around them is overrun by the dead. After realizing they have been left behind to fend for themselves, they strike out on their own in a desperate attempt to reach the safety of a refugee camp on the outskirts of the city. Along the way they discover that the dead aren’t the only things they have to fear in this suddenly terrifying new world, the forces meant to protect them are now just as dangerous as the zombies they were sent to fight.

Not to be rude but this is just another zombie story, the usual group, one leader, a couple of guys who are going to die and a fight to get to wherever they are going.Now on a brighter note, the second half of the book starts to pick up and we find that the leader is now leading, he now likes his group and wants to help them to survive.
The character development is slow and we lose a few, but don't care. From here on in I want to find out what happens next so maybe I will buy book two.

So glad I only did a sample. Spelling and grammatical errors were so frequent it was difficult to keep focus on story line. Please try editing
I really enjoyed how the characters in this story developed and interacted with each other. I was able to quickly feel a connection with the lead characters. The fact that there are no “super heroes”, just ordinary people in an extraordinary circumstance makes this entire book much more enjoyable. Lots of zombies and fast paced action kept me glued to my . Looking forward to book 2.
